FREE – 1 to 1 Funding – Pancreatic Cancer Diagnostic Tests

How this Project ‘Works’

For Potential RECIPIENTS

REMINDER

Potential Recipients‘ (PR) must have already become “conditionally eligible” etc. (to apply for the services described herein) via a referral to us (facilitator) – from an associated UK GP etc. Subsequently, PRs (and / or their GPs) can then contact us or vice versa (we contact PRs), to see if / be advised that associated funding might be available – at the relevant / particular point(s) in time and of concern

HOW THIS PROJECT WORKS – POTENTIAL RECIPIENTS (1)

PRs must be willing, able, capable etc. to / of adequately and transparently demonstrate / demonstrating to the ‘facilitator’ (us) that he / she can meet (or otherwise reliably expects to be able to meet) all pre-stipulated requirements (particularly those re financial matters / verifications thereof etc.) – in the required timecales of concern (latter to be advised, at the time, by said facilitator)

Compliance with the above is vital as, if a potential recipient takes too long to provide / prove (to us) “what is required / deemed necessary”, the medical advantages of comparatively rapid (private) diagnostic testing might be lost. In the latter circumstances, any provisional offer of associated financial assistance already made, may be withdrawn

HOW THIS PROJECT WORKS – POTENTIAL RECIPIENTS (2)

PRs should NOT withdraw from / cancel / delay etc. any (pancreatic cancer related) parallel / current etc. UK NHS (and / or UK government etc. provided equivalent etc.) public “pathway”(s) / appointments / diagnostics / treatments etc. which they might already be on / waiting for etc. – until (if) associated, relevant and equivalent (or better) private pathway treatment(s) and associated funding (as described elsewhere in this website) have been absolutely assured / committed to / confirmed etc. by the facilitator

Furthermore, said private pathway diagnostic tests (to be undertaken) must be ‘adequate / acceptable / desirable / potentially efficaceous etc.’ enough (i.e. at the very least being as good / efficacious etc. as the equivalent / associated NHS etc. provided tests etc. in use / offered at that same time) – as related to the specific purposes existing / advised / required etc.

The associated, estimated waiting time(s), for said “private pathway” diagnostic tests to be completed, should also be confirmed and deemed to be adequately “acceptable” – in the circumstances prevailing, at the relevant points in time

Note 1: To be deemed acceptable (as per last para above) – the associated, estimated wait time before said ‘private‘ diagnostic tests can be conducted, must be so ‘comparitively / significantly quicker’ than any associated, equivalent UK NHS etc. ‘pancreatic cancer’ route (e.g. which might exist / be ‘on offer’ etc. at / during that same point / period in time) – as to make it (private diagnostics testing route) so medically etc. viable – and thus worthwhile doing

The ‘facilitator’ will (as required) be the sole arbiter of the meaning of ‘acceptable‘ (and equivalent terms) – as used herein  – and in conjunction with actual circumstances prevailing ‘on the day / at the time’ etc.

Note 2: Similar considerations to all of the above should be accounted for / applied to any other (i.e. other than Pancreatic Cancer) significant pathway(s) / appointment(s) etc. (if any) – which might relate concurrently to the associated PR – and which (rarely) might have a ‘degree of urgency, importance etc.’ to be addressed – at least equivalent to or greater than that of said pancreatic cancer

REQUIREMENTS TO BE MET BY POTENTIAL RECIPIENTS

The main requirements for PRs to reliably be able to meet / agree to etc. (in order to apply for the private diagnostics tests route [for potential pancreatic cancer diagnosis] as described herein) are:

  • Live permanently in Cambridgeshire (including Peterborough), England, UK
  • Provide an associated, appropriate referral from an appropriate, medical practitioner (typically an associated UK NHS GP doctor)
  • Provide adequate evidence that he / she (PR) cannot reasonably fund the associated, private diagnostic tests required (in the associated timescale[s] envisioned) from his / her (and ‘their’ in the case of a familial / equivalent relationship[s] etc.) own financial etc. resources
  • Meet latter two requirements in a timescale permitting the associated diagnostic tests to be undertaken / completed, in a significantly quicker time period – than any equivalent NHS (public) pathway etc. option, which might also exist (at that same point in time) in England
  • Be able to meet all / any other requirements necessary / arising – so as to reliably be able to undertake the associated diagnostic tests at the notified / designated location(s), date / time(s) etc.
  • Provide to facilitator (in advance / good time) the (his / her) relevant / required ‘personal data’ (including any special / sensitive personal data if necessary) type permissions; consents etc. – needed by him (facilitator) to do what is required, in order to perform / manage / operate / communicate / share etc. ‘what is necessary etc.’ – for / on behalf of said recipient. See our Privacy Notice for further details
  • Understand and fully agree (in advance and in writing) that all (facilitator) decisions etc. made – re all / any of the above (and anything else as might be relevant  / otherwise inferred to in this website and / or ‘as per “actual circumstances” on the day’ etc.) will be absolutely final. Said decisions etc. shall not be questioned, contested, appealed etc. – by a PR (and / or by any associated representative(s) / similar etc. of same) – at any time, for any reason

The ‘facilitator’ shall be the final arbiter of the meanings, interpretations, usage etc. of the wording used in this specific webpage and anywhere else in this website (as appropriate for latter). His / her decisions shall be final
