Privacy Notice (Policy)

For the / our ‘services’ etc. (as described in this website) to ‘work / be deliverable’ etc. – we (FACILITATOR) need to (easily / rapidly / adequately) be provided with full and free access to relevant elements of personal information / data – re potential / actual RECIPIENTS of said services

Similar applies (but to a significantly lesser degree) to potential / actual FUNDERS

Our ‘Privacy Notice’ (separate document) sets out how we propose to achieve same – in compliance with current versions of the UK’s General Data Protection RegulationGDPR; Data Protection Act (DPA) etc. and / or equivalent and current UK legislation

POTENTIAL / ACTUAL RECIPIENT

We will provide POTENTIAL RECIPIENTS (PR) access to our Privacy Notice (at the start of any associated ‘project’), with the ‘request’ that:

a) They (PR) study it (said Privacy Notice) – and

b) The associated / appropriate / specific, written etc. ‘consent(s)’ (one of several UK GDPR ‘lawful bases‘ for processing personal data in UK) be obtained / provided to us by or via said PR

We request the latter so as to legally / ethically etc. be able to deliver our services (from data protection etc. viewpoints) as described herein – and as they apply to said PR and any others involved – as appropriate / required

In complying with the above, ‘you’ (PR) will have confirmed to us that you understand why, and have so agreed, to provide us with certain (specified) personal information / data (re yourself) – including special and / or sensitive information / data, if so required by actual circumstances prevailing at the time

You (PR) will have also confirmed that we can subsequently use / share / process etc. (to the minimum extent necessary to achieve what is required) such information / data as aforesaid. We will do this only to better facilitate provision of our ‘services’ (potentially being provided to / for / on behalf of etc. ‘you’ [PR]) – as better described / referred to elsewhere herein

In processing such personal data etc. – we additionally so do under the terms of a further (separate) UK GDPR ‘lawful basis‘ – known as ‘legitimate interest‘. Again, our (separate) Privacy Notice provides full details

OTHERS (as associated in some valid way with the ‘involved’ PR)

Further to the above, we will / might also require (specified) corroborating / additional etc. information (re the involved PR) from ‘OTHERS‘ (who know / hold / possess etc. same) e.g. family and friends; employers; banks; national and local government (including health services, social services etc.). Note that the latter list is not exhaustive

If so required, the PR concerned must provide the associated permissions etc. for such ‘others’ to be able to (quickly; easily etc.) provide us with ‘what is required’ – in order that we might better proceed / continue etc. with our assignment – e.g. without undue delay / difficulty etc.

POTENTIAL FUNDER / FUNDER

We also need to process some lesser degree of personal data re potential / actual FUNDERS. The UK GDPR ‘lawful basis’ used in so doing is ‘legitimate interest

See further above (under title ‘Potential Recipient’ etc.) for (similar) basic guidance re this ‘Potential Funder’ clause – but note that we will typically not need to be provided with associated special and / or sensitive information / data in so doing. See our (separate) Privacy Notice for full details

(Note: Our Privacy Notice will be provided to potential funders at the start of an / any associated project)
